About SUAS:
Sheffield University Architecture Society exists to encourage a thriving social and educational scene within the School of Architecture by bringing together undergraduate and postgraduate students and staff who are studying, teaching or interested in architecture and it's related fields.

SUAS aims to encourage a lively culture of architectural debate and learning through our weekly SUAS Lecture series, inviting practising professionals (largely SSoA Alumni) to present a lecture on their related field, unusual design film screenings and weekly 'Lunchtime Specials' series of talks given by students for students, on a range of topics including "how I got my placement" and "how I did this drawing".

SUAS has a diverse social scene, encouraged by regular themed socials, an annual Bakewell Pub Crawl, Networking Events and Architecture Winter and Summer Balls, which are held in university-wide acclaim.

All of our clubs and societies are run by a committee.

A committee is a team of people that lead, organise and publicise a group within your Students' Union.

It can be really rewarding as well as being a great way to gain experience and invaluable skills for your future career.
