Bhangra Society

Creative

Bhangra fever is taking over the country, and now this very energetic and fun style of dance which has been derived from the Punjabi Culture, has a home in Sheffield. We teach this unique form of dance in a very enjoyable way and welcome anyone who wants to join, regardless of their ability.

Weekly classes are held every week in the Work Rooms of 38 Mappin Street.

Membership can be purchased online or at any of the weekly classes for a cost of £5. Classes will be £2 for members and £3 for non-members. Membership will also give you a discount off other events and socials.

If you would like to book Bhangra Society for performances or have any queries, please contact us on bhangrasoc@sheffield.ac.uk or get in touch with us direct

Committee

All of our clubs and societies are run by a committee.

A committee is a team of people that lead, organise and publicise a group within your Students' Union.

It can be really rewarding as well as being a great way to gain experience and invaluable skills for your future career.
