WELCOME to the Biomedical Science Society, more commonly known as BMS Soc! We're a big presence in the Departmental Society scene, beaming brightly in our orange hoodies, making us easily recognisable in the crowds of students here at Sheffield. We're here to give you, the BMS students, chances to meet, engage and get to know each-other as well as making a positive impact on Sheffield. We offer you opportunities to to take part in our fantastic socials, course-orientated volunteering, charity events and even a even our momentous trip abroad. We now offer revision material to support you through your studies. You can also join our brilliant sports teams and compete in the campus leagues. BMS Soc will give you the chance to get involved and make some great friends along the way! What makes us so good? BMS Soc is a friendly, adaptable and proactive society. We're made up of 13 committee members, adding 2 new Freshers at the beginning of semester 1. These people are students dedicated to organising events that you want. Despite COVID-19 we are still offering the same level of activity as we usually do and maybe even more, dont let the online socials scare you and please come along to our sport events that are continueing with safe measures!

We are always willing to adapt to the wants and needs of our members and thrive off your feedback to constantly make improvements and give the members what they want, so if you've got an idea let us know by cotacting us through our socials or email!

All of our clubs and societies are run by a committee.

A committee is a team of people that lead, organise and publicise a group within your Students' Union.

It can be really rewarding as well as being a great way to gain experience and invaluable skills for your future career.
