The Indian Society at the University of Sheffield represents 'ALL THINGS INDIAN!' We celebrate all major festivals (Diwali, Holi, Eid and others) and organize loads of trips, socials, Bollywood club nights, sports fixtures, games nights and lots more throughout the year!

The society has come to develop over the years as one of the biggest student-run cultural societies in Sheffield. We aim to be your 'HOME AWAY FROM HOME', and never let die the Indian in you! We're also open to anyone and everyone who wants and loves a taste of our rich, colorful and diverse culture and festivals, so just get involved with our society to experience all things Indian!

All updates and events will be posted everywhere so keep an eye out. We're an all inclusive society and open to basically anyone who wants to meet and socialize with new people and attend fun events throughout the year! So what are you waiting for? Hurry up and visit our social media pages to know more about us.

For information about different events and socials and what we've done in our previous years check out our Facebook page or visit www.uosindiansoc.co.uk, but for more details and behind the scenes fun follow us on Instagram!

Committee

All of our clubs and societies are run by a committee.

A committee is a team of people that lead, organise and publicise a group within your Students' Union.

It can be really rewarding as well as being a great way to gain experience and invaluable skills for your future career.
