Liberal Democrats Society
Political, Campaigning or Charity
Join This GroupHello!
The Young Liberals are the student wing of the Liberal Democrats.
We represent liberal politics on campus and seek to help the party win on both a local and national level. The Lib Dems are the second largest party on Sheffield City Council, with 26 councillors, and last controlled the council in 2010.
We meet regularly, roughly once a fortnight, and we're eager to engage with other political and campaigning societies within the University. If you happen to represent such a society, please get in touch!
Committee
Our committee for 2020/21 consists of:

Secretary and Publicity Officer: Matt Sykes
Treasurer and Inclusions Officer: Ben Noble

Committee
All of our clubs and societies are run by a committee.
A committee is a team of people that lead, organise and publicise a group within your Students' Union.
It can be really rewarding as well as being a great way to gain experience and invaluable skills for your future career.
