About Us

We are a student-run science communication society, including a blog, YouTube channel, and podcast. Our aim is to post interesting science news and features for you, by you. We have fortnightly online article handouts where you can choose a title or come up with your own. Our YouTube channel is where we post short videos about exciting new developments in science research or summary explanations about interesting topics. Our fortnightly podcast, Eureka, is where we discuss areas from extraterrestrial life, to drug development, to quantum physics.

Don't worry if you don't have any experience - it's easy to pick up and we will teach you anything you need to know! Our committee are always on hand to give advice for improving your writing skills, teach you how to edit videos, or answer any questions you may have about the society.

If you want to get involved then please join our contributors page on Facebook (pH7 Contributors 2020-21). This is where we post information about upcoming articles and episodes. Feel free to message any of the committee or email us at if you have any questions!

Our website can be found at:

All of our clubs and societies are run by a committee.

A committee is a team of people that lead, organise and publicise a group within your Students' Union.

It can be really rewarding as well as being a great way to gain experience and invaluable skills for your future career.
