Reggae Society

The Reggae Society aims to cater to fans of anything which could broadly be described as reggae, so expect to hear rocksteady, roots, dub, dancehall and more at our regular sound system events. We hope to create a welcoming environment, so whether you've just recently got into Bob Marley, or you've been cutting dubplates for years, sign up and come along! You can become a member via our Student Union page for £3, or talk to a committee member at one of our socials or via our Facebook page. Similarly, don't hesitate to contact us if you would like to be more deeply involved in the running of the society, or even spinning some tunes at one of our events. Follow our Facebook page for information on our socials, meetings and events; as well as handy tip-offs on what's happening in Sheffield's wider reggae scene.

All of our clubs and societies are run by a committee.

A committee is a team of people that lead, organise and publicise a group within your Students' Union.

It can be really rewarding as well as being a great way to gain experience and invaluable skills for your future career.
