We are here to advise, support and represent you as well as provide some much needed social activity, albeit still mainly online. Our elected student officers are also representing students’ interests at meetings with the University and feeding into local and national campaigns to try and ensure that ‘students are not forgotten’. They recently secured a rent refund for students in University accommodation.
Our Student Advice Centre is also here to offer independent and specialist advice to you at this difficult time. We know that students will face different challenges and issues depending on their personal circumstances and so may require different types of advice and support at this time. We have provided links to University Support services and other specialist agencies which may also be useful to you.
The situation is constantly evolving and policies and guidance are subject to change sometimes without much notice. The University’s COVID pages are a good source of information and they also have a comprehensive set of FAQ’s and latest guidance for students.
You should also check latest Government Covid 19 Guidance.
