Staying Safe this Christmas

Some of the biggest nights out happen during the festive period, but it’s important to stay safe and look out for your friends.

Here are our top tips for having the best time and staying safe this Christmas:

No cash to get home safely? Call City Taxi’s on 01142393939, hand your Ucard to the driver and then collect & pay the next day at the SU Welcome Desk

Get from the SU to your door for just £1.50 using the Women’s Minibus. Check our opening times for the schedule

Respect your neighbours and try to keep festive cheer down on your way home.

Make sure your friends are okay and never walk home alone

Pace yourself and know your limits. Did you know you can ask for free water from all the SU bars?

Tell somebody. Staff at our nights out and bars aren’t here to judge you, they just want to make sure you’re having the best time possible and staying safe

If something is making you feel uncomfortable, tell a member of staff

Students' Union Opening Times

Here are the opening times for the Students' Union over the festive period.
