Breaking: Sheffield SU to host a brand new music festival!

Brand new music festival ‘Underpass’ is being launched by Sheffield SU this May!
Underpass will bring top acts to the city including indie and pop heavyweights Spector and Fickle Friends. Taking place on Saturday 2nd May the festival will host four different stages around the SU.

The stages will showcase a variety of bands and acts, including a dedicated Tuesday Club stage offering the best in underground dance music.

With more acts are to be revealed in the coming weeks, the line up so far includes Spector, Fickle Friends, Patawawa, The Covasettes, The Seamonsters, Two Weeks in Nashville, Andy H, LUNAR, Cargo and Gracie T.

The first tier of tickets have gone on sale today at a bargain £15

Jake Verity, Sheffield Students’ Union President and the force behind Underpass said:

“It’s pretty amazing to be announcing Underpass today. What once was a pipedream on my manifesto is now a real event with some unbelievable musical acts coming to our very own SU.

“The Students’ Union has a long history of hosting legendary music acts including David Bowie, Talking Heads, and Florence and the Machine. The underpass is continuing that legacy and as you can see by the line-up, we’re not messing around! Make sure to get your ticket now for the best party the SU has ever seen.”
