Who Are We?

Sheffield RAG is a working committee of students at Sheffield Students’ Union who organise bundles of fundraising events over the academic year.

Last year we raised over £90,000 for charity.

All fundraising is completely student-led, this means that the committee, and student groups they work with, choose exactly which events they want to run, and the charities that benefit.

Supported by a full time staff member, they aim to raise as much money as possible, and have a lot of fun in the process!

How to Get Involved

1

Take Part in Our Events

Look out for exciting opportunities across the year to raise money for lots of different charities and take part in once-in-a-lifetime events, such as the legendary Spiderwalk, a 13 mile sponsored night walk.

Check out our website for more info.

2

Work with Adopt a Charity

RAG’s ‘Adopt a Charity’ scheme works with clubs and societies to help you fundraise for charities of your choice.

You can also claim back up to 45% of your fundraising for your own club or society funds!   We can help with things like budgeting, planning, marketing, resources and legal stuff and help you to engage with the charities you support.
