For both roles, we are looking for a highly effective administrator with a sound understanding of the motivations / barriers for university students and organisations in relation to involving students. Highly organised, you will be able to plan effectively and manage resources / people, with skill and confidence.

Always friendly, calm and efficient, you’ll excel at dealing with a high volume of enquiries, applications and competing demands. You’ll also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to maximise opportunities and resolve concerns.

With a good eye for detail, you’ll enjoy supporting the team by keeping a careful track of all tasks. A people person, you’ll revel in enabling students to get involved and in giving a first-rate service – so that students feel valued, continue to volunteer and recommend us to others.

Role 2: Projects Administrator (24.5 hours per week – worked over 4 week days, pattern negotiable- term time only- 38 weeks between September and July)

  • Co-ordinate short term and flexible volunteering schemes in partnership with external stakeholders.

With a real heart for community engagement, you’ll enjoy responding to interest from students, schools, voluntary groups or charities, building relationships to make things happen, keep records and be diligent in achieving targets and outcomes.

Note: If for any reason you wish to be considered for only one of these roles, please do advise us on your application form. Otherwise, we will assess your suitability for both roles.
