£8.40 per hour (£7.50 per hour + £0.90p in lieu of holiday)

An opportunity has arisen at the award-winning Sheffield Students’ Union within the Information & Communications department who are looking for enthusiastic, pro-active, friendly people to join their team by September 2017.
You will provide an excellent front-line service (Welcome Desk, Activities & Sports Zone Desk, and Box Office), which involves providing general assistance and support to students, staff and visitors including selling tickets, booking spaces, maintaining the areas with up to date & relevant information and processing financial claims. There may also be scope for additional work opportunities within other areas of the Membership Engagement department.

Hours of work
You are required to work a MINIMUM of two shifts per week during term-time.
A rota is in operation and issued on a weekly basis. This includes working early, late during the week and at weekends on a regular basis so flexibility in the shifts you are allocated is expected. Additional shifts may be available during the vacation period too.
