How to nominate yourself

To nominate yourself in the SU Officer Elections, you just need to submit your name, a photo and a 250-word manifesto. The deadline for nominations is 5pm, Friday 8th February.

The process for nominating yourself is the same for both Elected Student Trustee and SU Officer positions.

Quick Guide

Every University of Sheffield student has an account on the Students' Union website. To nominate yourself you must first 'sign in' (see below guide) and then follow this link. The positions you are eligible to stand for will then available in your 'Account/Profile'.

Remember, once your nomination has been approved, you must adhere to the Election Rules.
