Hi there, SU President Lilian Jones updated on this idea at Council's meeting on the 29th November. Here's an overview of what she said: They are were currently in discussion with the Students’ Union fire safety officer to implement this idea as well as having discussions about the food safety risk of providing microwaves.

Can we please have one in the management school, It's further away from the centre on the hill, there are not many choices for food (Just sandwich and some rice noodles, not many gluten-free, vegetarian choices) in just one small cafe here, there's usually just one-hour lunch break in between seminars and lectures, when there are so many students waiting for the next seminar during lunch break. Many students felt that they don't have enough time to go down the hill and get food and come back, especially students like me suffering from lactose intolerance and celiac it's real difficult, that I mostly have to cook my own food to ensure I don't get sick through what I ate.
